LONDON, Dec. 20. The Chamber of Deputies has approved the vote of credit for military organisation. COLONIAL APPOINTMENTS. Sir R. A. Blake has been appointed Go- vernor of Jamaica, and the Karl of Kintore Governor of South Australia.

[Sir H. A. Blake is at present Governor. of Newfoundland. He was nominated Go- vernor of Queensland about six weeks ago, but his appointment was not received with favour by the Colonials and was withdrawn. The Kari of Kintore is a bard up Scotch nobleman, who is now to the service.-ED.
