Mactavish, late of the Arraton poury which occurred not far from Madras, while he was on his way Home from Calcutta in ill health. Captain Mactavish had been ailing for some time, and we believe that his life was despaired of before he left Calcutin. The deceased was for a num- ber of years on this Coast and was woll known here and esteemed for his quiet" genial disposition. He leaves a widów and family at Home.
