TEE French mail steamer Djemna arrived only this afternoon from Shanghai, being nearly a day late. The greater part of the delay, we learn, occurred in Shanglizi. As the Djemnak was about to leave Woonung on Sunday, a violent typhoon was signalled. in the Formoso.channel, and the departure of the vessel was delayed till 4 p.m. Com- ing down from Shanghai the vessel must have encountered part of the rough weather caused by the typhoon that is now said to be careering northwards, and been somewhat-y layed thereby.
