The French gunboat Farsenal, which r rived here this moming from Haiphong, has been put in quarantine, there being throo cases of Cholora on board. The pa- tients llave not been lauded, as there is a doctor on board the ship who is attending to them. They have, however, been isolated from the rest of the crew, and there is no daayor of the disease spreading.
AT the Police-Court, this morning, before Mr Wedohouse, the master of the ballast. boat No 180 was fined $30 for throwing and ballant into the harbour. It ap peared that the boat was engaged to discharge 1200 tons of and ballast from the barque Marianne, and that, instead of taking the rubbish outside the har bour,
the defendant throw it into thehachaustaavis stated that frem. twenty to twenty-five tons of sand had been emptied into the barbour. The men wors warned by the e
