porary Lightship Ching Tak us Loca noored about 5 Unbles to the North-Kast ward of the Wreck of the Chinese Transport Wan Nien Ching, which lies in 3 fathoms 5.6 21 E. from the Tangahn Lightship at low water spring tiden 7 nautical miles The Ching Tah exhibits two fixod Lights; in a vertical line, the upper one red and the lower one white, olovated respectivaly 68 feet and 4 feet above the sea and visible in clear weather at a distance of 5 nautical miles.

A small schits Tight is exhibited from the fore-atag, & feet above the rail, to show the Direction in which the Lightship is heading. Her The Lightship in phintod black, Main-top-miast hae ayard across from which the two Lights are suspended, and it is sur mounted by an inverted Cone, -painted in lack. The Fore and Blizzen Topinasts are struck.

In foggy or thick weather a gong will be sounded at intervals of one minute.

If the Lightship be deven from hor proper position to one where she is of no use as a guide to shipping, the usual Lights will not be exbibited, but a small fixed red Light will be shown at each end of the vessel; the Cone will be struck as soon as possible and till struck it will be surmounted by a red flag.
