His Lor ship asked what the bankrupt had to say in answer to the statement made by the Registrar.
Mr Wotton said that, as regals, the shares handed over to the bank, Mr Holmes was under the impression that the Bank had sufficient in hand to pay the liabilities, understand that ho was th and he did put the statement of the shares given to them in the accounts. His books, how- evor, would show that he was possessed

of the shares, and there was no attempt at concealment on his part.
