TRE rock on which the steamer Esmeralda struck, off the Cost of Lagun, is stated to be marked with four fathoms on the Admi- ralty Chart. The Esmeralda was drawing 11 or 12 feet when she struck.
HMS. Epigle, Captain Cyprian A. C. Bridge, from the Australian station, arrived at Singapore on the 8th inst. from Sydney, and will for the present be stationed there. The Espiègle is a vessel of 6 guns, 1,130 tons, and 1,140 horas power.
