Tus French Covernment transport Bien-hoa, with 500-reinforcements fr Cochin Chins and Torquing arrived at Singapore from Tonion on December 19th and left for Sai immediately after cooling. The French clustered transpet Cholanı, Cap- tain A. Martel, from onlon via Phi lippeville and Fort Said also arrived at Singapore on the 23rd Dec., with 22 ocor and 921 soldiers, for Achiral Courbet on board, and was to leave fe Keelung direct after evaling.

THE troopship Himalays arrived in Cork Harbour on the 22nd No, and ombarked two offioom and 150 men of the 2nd Batta- log East Kent Regiment, destined for path, tigrarangkong us three offices and 187 men of the 1st Battalion Boy Tuniskillen Fuxiliar, for Singapore.
