In the following Statements and Tables the Rates aro given in cents, and are, for Letters per half ounce, for Books and Patterns, per two ounces.
Newspapers over four ounces in weight are charged as doable, treble, ., as the case may be, but such papers or packets oi Papers may be sent at Book Rate. Two Newspapers must not be folded together as one, nor must anything whatever be inserted except bona fide Supplements. Printed matter may, however, be enclosed, if the whole be paid at Bock Rate.
