When the body of a beacon is painted in twacatonis, the same colours only may bẹ ased to paint the mark by which it is surround. Whenever a distinguishing mark is used a particular description of it will be given in the published List. Beaconon shore, to quable bearings to be taken or to give lines of dirvation for crossing bus or entering rivers, harbours, etc, are to be pointed so as to make ther as conspicuous as possile. Red, Back, and White are the only colours to be used, and a partienlar desciption of such matke will begiran in the published List.
