The publication includes papers original and selected upon the Arts and Sciences, Ethnology, Folklore, Geography, History, Literature, Mythology, Manners and Cus toms, Natural History, Religion, &c., &iting of China, Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, the Eastern archipelago and the Far East" generally. A more detailed list of subjects upon which contributions are especially invited is incorporated with each number.
