INQUESTS
An inquest was held this afternoon st the Oivil Hospital on the body of a Chinesa male adult, name unknown--befors H. B. Wodehouse Esq., Coroner, and a jury cons sisting of Measts A. G. Krasa, T. Kerr, and J. N. G. Goosmann.
Dr Manques said the body, was brought into the hospital this morning. It was that of's Chinese misle adult about 20 years of ag6 It was seriously decomposed, so
much so that he could make no post mortem examination. No marks of violence were on the body so far as he could see must have been some time in the water, He could give no opinion as to the cause of the death
Inspector Cradock, in answer to the Co roner, said he had no notice of the inquest being to be had to day, so he did not call witnesses.
It was adjourned til Monday, at half past two, at the Magistracy.⠀⠀
Another inquest was heid before the same Coroner, and Jury on the body of Che Achoi, Chinese female adult, about 30 year
of age.
