The publication includes papers original and selected upon the Arts and Sciences, Ethnology, Folklore, Geography, Bistory, Literature, Blythology, Manners and Cus- toms, Natural History, Religion, &, &, of China, Japan, Mongolis, Tibet, the Eastern Archipulogo and the "Far East " generally. A more detailed list of subjects upon which contributions are especially invited is incorporated with each number. Original contributions in Chinese, Latin, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Por- tuguese, are admiroible.
Endeavours Are made to present a read in col number of the contents of the most recent works bearing on Obinose matters. Great sitention is also paid to the Review department.
