Tue Rifle Match between the 27th lunia. killinge and the Shanghai Volunteer Corps took place to-day as arranged, and results in a victory for the Shanghai Volunteers by 23 points. The individual scoring of the Northern Team we are not yet in a position
to give, but the total score (760) was wired to the Captain of the Hongkong Team. The ranges were 200, 600, and 600 yards, 7 shots at each range, and it is at the latter distance, in which the wind has great effect upon the shooting across the open gully over which the range extends at Kowloon, that the Team of the 27th appear to have lost ground.
