POLITICAL CRISIS IN HAWAII: REVOLUTION THREATENED.

a meeting was held, "which was at- tended by all the lending foreigners, also by two of the Supreme Court Judges, who spoke, Beveral resolutions were opted, but before the precedinge broke up three gentlemen-Er Cartwright, W. Alloa (Collector-General), and Charles Pfluger-brought werd from the King that Moreno had teulered his rezigna tion, which was asepted. Before the moeting dispersed it was unanimously carried that Moreno should be sent out of the country, as he took the oath of allegianco on accepting office and became a Hawaiian subject. He has lost the protection of any other nation, and so he is completely at the mercy of the com- munity here, who I make this place very hot for him."
