In the present state of official relations, it would be out of all reason to seek any information from the Medical Department. But we are informed upon very good authority- that the Garrison of Hongkong is fast regaining that notoriety it has pre- viously had as to the magnitude of its sick list. Probably the War Office may have something to say regarding the praise or blame which may be given for ** this disgraceful condition of things.
