Mr Francis, summing up the evidence, sald both parties were agreed as to the fact of the collision, and as to the hour; but there was considerable difference between them as to the exact place where the colli. sion occurred. Be contended that the bour when the steamer left the harbour, taken with the state of the tide, the place where the wreck was washed ashore, and the relative position of the Danish brig, proved that the point of collision was that marked "P" on the map, the place fixed by the junk people and not that marked "3" as contended by his learned frisud, and deposed to by the Captain and officers of the stamer.
