The Roserve Fund is thus increased to $701,842,00 through profits reserved to B1st December, 1877, whilst a Dividend of $67.95 per share (equal to 28.97 on the paid- up Capital) and a Bonus of 24.24 per cent on Contributions of Shareholders are paid from the earnings to the same date.

.The Year 1878 shows improvement both in Premium and Interest collected, and by the working account a sum of $271,923.55 is shown at credit, to which has to be added $28,689.60 profit on the investment in Bonds of the Chinese Imperial Loans 1874 and 1877, realized since the accounts now published were closed.
