Cargo and Specle will bo registered for London as well as for Marseilles, and ac-

cepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal places of Europe.

Cargo will be received on board until 4 p.m., Specle and Parcels until 3 pm. on the 3rd April, 1878. (Parcels are not to be sont on board; they must be left at the Agency's Office.)

TWO cents a character for the first 100 characters, and one cents eharsoten beyond the first 100, for first insertion, and half price for repetitions during the first week. Subsequent weeks Insertions will be charged only one half the amount of the frst week's charge. Advertisements fas half a year and longer will be allowed in deduction of 25 per cent on the total amount and contracta for more favourable farma can be made.

Hifforts have been made to estabílak Agents for circulating the Chinese Mail in all the ports and in the interior of China, all the porte in Japan, in Saigon, Singapore, Penang, Calcutta, Batavia, Manlia the Phillippines, Australia, San Francisco, Pers and other places which Chinese frequent When the list of Agencies is completed, it will be published. Agents have been already established in most of the above places, and in important parts more than one agent has been appointed at each.
