(Herald, Oct 4th.) We are glad to learn that the missing Pilot-boat Marie has returned to port, hay ing sustained some injury during the late galo, which fortunately she was enabled to weather.
The Postmaster General of Hongkong is xow on an official visit to this port. The foreign community will therefore have an opportunity of ventilating grievances, and we believe that Mr Lister invites suggestions da to postal matters. Chief amongst these should be a permanent arrangement in regard to the receipt and despatch of homeward maila. There ought to be a mail subsidy for the coast ports.
