THE above Steamer was Built in Glas- gow in 1872 by Mesars DoBBIE & Co., under special survey of LLOYDS', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Mosare JAMES HOWDEN de Co., undar special inspection. She was con- "structed to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in, 1875, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit wore supplied by the HONGKONG AND WRAMIOA DOCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
