THE above Steamer was Built in Glas- gow in 1872 by Mesars DOBBIE & Co., under special survey of LLOYDS', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Mesars JAMES HOWDEN & under special inspection. She was con strupted to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1875, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit were supplied by the BoxaGKONG AND WHAMPOA DOOR COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
