gow in 1872 by Mesera DoBBIE & Co., under special survey of. LLoves', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Messrs JAMES HOWDEN & Co., under special inspection. She was con struoted to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1875, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete. outfit were supplied by the HONGKONG AND WHAMYOA DOCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
