If approved, the Secretary was to get the things required. There is an account kept of what is indent ed for; there is a counter-foil. It is not often we have to indent for timber. We sometimes got stores without their being indented for, such as a cargo of wood might be sent there from England and other places, I don't remember having indented for the wood bought of Mr Degenaar in February and March. Our requisition book would show it.

The flowers are placed in groups on neatly made stands, and their fragrance is very agreeable, especially after the abominable odors one has to encounter ere reaching the

After the pleadings had been read, Doctor Myers was examined, and deposed that since the case was heard at Chefoo, he had found the missing leaf from the ledger. The case for the appellant (Doctor Myers) was not nearly finished when the Court rose, and as there is the voluminous correa- pondence between the parties still to be got through, it is expected that the pro- ceedings will extend over four or five more
