The Light a elevated 280 feet above the level of the sea, and, in alear weather, if should be visible from a distance of 24 nautical miles.
The Tower is round, of stone, 35 feet bigh, with a total height from its base to the lantern vane of 64 feet.
The Tower is painted black, but the dwellings and boundary wall are painted white:
This temporary fixed light, referred to in Notice to Mariners No. 34, has been dis- continued.
