Passed through Salayez Straits on 15th December came through Dampier Strait on 1st Jan., was six days endeavouring to get up the Dilolo passage without gaizing anything; had light variable winds and constant heavy Fain from Dampier Strait to Pelow Islands; fight variables winds; passed westward of them; tisucs to this post good breeze and pleasant weather, pasago 63 days.
