The North Germ. panier Chine, from Shanghai, reports fine weather and fresh N. E. monsoon all the passage down. On Ist Nov. passed S. S. Brt King, off Beacon, bound up; off Light slip passed an English gun-boat, bound up; and on 4th Nov, suw the steamer Yesau off Breaker Point, bound North.
The British barque Evangeline, from Newcastle, reports bed weather and strong Northerly gales the first part of passage, the latter part strong gales and heavy sea. 89 days out. On 31st Oct. in lat. 19.55 N., long, 120.67 E. spoke the Britieb barg, Henry Grenfell, steering to S. E.
