NOTICE TO MARINERS. THE BUOYS marking the Dangers in the

Harbour of Amoy have been painted according to the ftale in use by the British Admiralty and Trinity Board, viz.: to mark the Starboard side of Channels entering by Black or Red Buoys only. The Fort side of Channels entering by Black or Red Buoys Chequered or vertically striped with White, and Aiddle Grounds by horizontally striped Buoys.

KELLET SPIT North end formerly. marked by a striped Buoy, is now marked

by a Red BuKB-formerly marked by

a Red Buoy are now marked by a verti cally striped Red and White Buey. This Bnoy has been placed about 20 fathoms to the E. 8. E. of the shoalest patch, in order to guard Vessels against Lodges of Rock, with 15 fout, water, found to exist in that direction, and it may be parsed close to on the Port Hand when entering the Harbour, The shoaleat patch or pinnacle of the Coker Rooks, has a floating Beacon on it until further notice.

NEW ROOK-in North part of Har bour, and Brown's Rock are marked by horizontally striped Buoys.
