WE learn by private advices received by the Basilish, that the ports of Hiogo and Osaka were opened on January 1st, with out dificulty and that the lots of ground are to be sold by auction as soon as pos- sible by the Japanese Government. Nearly all the houses are finished; and a sea wall along the Band is also ap proaching completion. The trees on the concession are to be left, and not out down, as was feared.
