One slipway, width 50 feet and gradient 1 in 20. Slipway of concrete blocks capable of bearing the weight of aircraft up to 200 tons. Minimum depth at end of slipway about 10 feet at M.L.W.S. Hand worked capstans at top of slipway also bollards and buoya conveniently spaced for beaching operations.
Foreshore throughout length of aerodrome and landing field s built up sea wall with concrete and rubble filling along the bottom. Unsuitable for beaching aircraft.
One 5-ton crane on sea wall at R.A.F. Base.
Aircraft, of any size, can be safely berthed alongside pon- toon for the disembarkation of passengers, freight, etc. All facilities available for disembarking passengers etc. by motor boat when aircraft lies out at moorings.

Short rubber buoys spaced conveniently within 900 feet of main pontoon: moored to 5-ton concrete sinkers with 7′′ and 1” short link chain each of 4 fms. in length. Also one Munro type buoy moored to a 5-ton block with 24" stud link cable. Four of the 5 buoys suitable for mooring heavy type aircraft up to any present day maximum tonnage.
Motor boats for control, towing, and disembarkation of

Handling personnel available from 0900 to 1700 and at all
other times as requested.
No accommodation or food available at airport. There are
good hotels in Kowloon and Victoria.
Medical room with first aid equipment at airport. Fully equipped government hospital one mile distant, with doctors always available.
Repairs undertaken by the Far East Flying Training School, Ltd., who have workshops at airport fully equipped for all wood and metal repairs, including welding, and a staff of licensed ground engineers.
Spares for Gipsy and Armstrong Siddeley engines and Avro and De Havilland aircraft stocked by above firm. Large quantity aircraft general spares, sheet matal, tubing, etc., available.
Aircraft weighbridge-up to 85 Tons.
British Overseas Airways Corporation to England and Australia, vid Thai (Siam) (suspended since October 1940).
Air France via Hanoi, French Indo-Chins to France
(auspended since July, 1940).
Pan American Airways to America, vid Manila and
Honolulu.
Eurasia and China National Airways to China (restricted
service in operation at present).
To Canton, Hankow, etc., (service interrupted at present). Good roads throughout territory.
