() When a ship, previously measured under Rule 11. is remeasured under Rale I. the full fee in Scule A is to be charged without any deduction for measure- ment under Rule II.

(c) Scale C shows the fee for remeasurement in consequence of alterations the upper deck, or in the engine room, or under Sections 77 (4), 78 (2), 79 (1), and 80 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, or Section 54 of the Merchant Ship-| fing Act. 1906. The maximum fee in respect of each item is $75. The fee for measurement under Section 79 (1) (a) (i) includes the inspection of crew spaces f made at the same time as the measurement.

(d) The fee for measurement under Section 81, Merchant Shipping Act 1921, and in all other cases where, in consequence of alterations, remeasurement of the under deck tonnage is found necessary is that shown in Sculo A.

(e) If a trawler or drifter, built and measured for the Admiralty, is trans- frred to private owners and is being registered under Part 1 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894 and alterations are found to have been made affecting the mage, the fee is to be charged in accordance with Scale A. If no alterations ave been made, a fee of $7.50 only is to be charged for the visit to the ship and the issue of the necessary papers to the Registrar of Shipping at the intended port of registry.

(7) If the owners of a foreign ship apply for the renewal of a certificate of British Tonnage, the principal dimensions are to be re-tried, and, if they are found to agree with the certificate, a fee of $30 only is to be charged for the issue of the new certificate If the dimensions do not practically agree with the certificate of Banage, the ship must be re-measured throughout under Rule I or II, as the case thay be, and the appropriate fee charged.

(2) The fee for a copy of the Certificate of British Tonuage is $7,50.

When application is made for the issue or amendment of a “Suez Canul" Panama Canal" Special Tonnage Certificate, a fee of two-fifths of the fall manage fee is to be charged for each certificate whether the measurement is made at the same time as the measurement for British registry or not. This fee includes remeasurement of British tonnage (except underdeok) if made at the same time, Certified copies of Suez Canal or Punaina Canal certificate will be issued on payment of $7.50 for each copy.

(i) If a foreign ship, originally registered as a British ship, is subsequently aught forward for registry, a fee of $30 only is to be charged if, on comparison, the pal dimensions are found to agree with the original tonnage measurements 11. however, they do not agree and the ship has to be measured throughout, the fal fee is to be charged. If the anlerdeck tonnage is found to agree and other differ. then, in addition to the $30 fee for check measurement, further fees ate to be charged for these items in accordance with the foregoing,
