7. What are the dimensions (length, breadth, and depth over sill H.W.O.N.T.) of the largest dry dock or floating dock in the port?

T. The Taikoo Dockyard and Engineering Co., Ltd., Dry Dock. 787 feet in length over all. 120 feet wide at coping, 89 feet wide at bottom, 344 feet depth on sill II.W.O.S.T.

8. Are operations in progress to increase the depth 8. (4) No.

(b) in the case of enclosed docks, at the entrance jock, if any, of any important dock or docks—

to 40 feet at L.W.O.S.T. (in the case, "of the berths at enclosed docks, II.W.O.N.T.), and is accommodation being provided for vessels 1,000 feet in length and of 100 feet beam?

If not, to what extent is deepening being effected, and for vessels of what dimensions (length, draught, and beam at that, draught) is wecom- modation being provided or in contemplation?

(b) None.

(c) No operations are in hand to increase the depth at principal berths or to provide accommodation for larger vessels, except that the sen wall bas been lengthened to 3,200 feet with a depth of 39 feet alongside H.W.O.S.T.
