Chinese Maritime Customs for clearance of aircraft departing for China have an officer normally on duty from 0830 to 1630 hours. At other times and on Sundays and public holidays telephone 50930 or 28491. Customs forms supplied by department.

No special passport or riza requirements.

Superintendent of Airport should be informed, if possible before arrival of aircraft of any disease on board. Sanitary examination of aircraft carried out under supervision of Port Health Officer.

side. Black Civil hangar on West side. Obstruction lights on surrounding hills. North and east sides, hills rising to 2,000. West side, buildings of Kowloon City. South side, sea. Sur. rounding country is unsuitable for emergency landings. Kwanti Race Course, bearing 345°T 13 miles from Air- port, could be used by small aircraft.

Control tower is situated at Civil hangar (see plan). Right hand circuits for easterly winds and winds under

4 k.p.h. Left hand circuits for westerly winds.

When wind is less than 4 k.p.h. landings and take-off"

must be made from N.W. to S.E.

Pilots must report arrival to Control Officer and obtain per-

mission for departure, except for local flights. Open continuously.
