TOWN PLANNING SCHEMES IN PROGRESS.
(1) GENERAL
Town planning work has, in the main, consisted of dealing with small areas, either in conformity with or as amendments and additions to the recommendations of the Town Planning
Committee of 1922.
(2) During 1936 Development Schemes were prepared for the following areas.
HONG KONG:
Government Civil Hospital Grounds, scheme for conversion to public
park as memorial to the late King George V.
Island Bay.
Arsenal Street.-Revised Scheme.
Lower Peak Tram Station.-Revised Scheme.
KOWLOON:
Cheung Sha Wan.
Canton Road.-Scheme for development of vacant land as a park, as a
memorial to the late King George V.
NEW TERRITORIES :-
Teun Wan.- Revised Scheme.
