Services in matshed in 1842, First stone laid 11th March, 1847, and opened for Divine Service on the 11th Murch. 1849. 3 Morning Services and 1 Evening Service every Sunday. Service daily.
Opened for Divine Service on 11th January, 1872. Under Bill No. 2 of 1930 it becomes a chapel of Ease to the cathedral. Church at present being used as a shelter for Street Sleepers.
