TOWN PLANNING SCHEMES IN PROGRESS.
(1) GENERAL
In 1922 a Town Planning Committee was convened and schemes prepared for the im-
provement of existing lay-outs and the development of new areas, both in Hong Kong and Kowloon. These schemes have been proceedel with and amended as has been found necessary.
During 1983 lay-outs for the following areas have been prepared.
(2) HoNG RoNG
Revised lay-out.
Government House and Office Area.
New lay-outs.
Stanley Village.
Shek O Village,
(3) Kowloon and New TERRITORIES :—
Revised lay-outs.
New lay-outs.
Kowloon Tsai.
New Central British School Site and surrounding area.
Hung Hom.
Public Square Yaumati.
Area between Nathan and Canton Roads.
