(D) Marconi 6 K. W. short wave transmitter using rectified 300 cycle supply. Wave-

length 10640 kcfs (28.2 metres).

Services:-

(1) With (A) the station provides a broadcasting service daily consisting of musical items.

and weather reports.

During the typhoon season warnings are broadcasted hourly.

The studio for the broadcasting is situated in General Post Building in the City of Victoria.

(2) Stations (B), (C) and (D) are used for fixed point working on commercial services.

(3) The transmitters are all located at Victoria Peak Station and are remotely controlled by the Government Radio Office for commercial services and by the Royal Obser- vatory Wireless Station for meteorological services.

(4) The receivers for the various services are situated in the Royal Observatory Wireless Station Kowloon and the Government Radio Office, Des Voeux Road, Victoria, a system of tone channels connecting the two.
