Return of Lands Re-entered, Surrendered, and Resumed during the Year 1928.

REMARKS.—Persons having possession of lands or houses previous to the Treaty were allowed to retain them on payment of certain assessed rentals now collected by the Treasurer. In cases where such lands or houses are not leased, the occupiers are treated as tenants at will.

462 a. 1 r. 1 2/5 p. were leased and 1788 a. 2 r. 3 p. 5 4/5 p. were re-entered, surrendered or resumed leaving 1826 a. 2 r. 4 2/3 p. to be deducted from the total number of acres leased according to previous returns.
