1. Material for examination must be addressed to the Government Bacteriologist, Bacteriological Institute, and must be receivest in proper condition. In case of material sent by post proper procnution must be taken in packing.

1. In all chemical reports and in cortain other cases, e.g., the examination of blood filims, only the fucts observed will be reported. The interpretation of the facts will be left to the person receiving the report.

1. Widal's reaction ngaiust B. Typhoeus, and B. Paratyphosus A. & B. examination of diphtheria swabs and examination of materint from supposed cases of Cholern or Plague will be done free of chargo for any ease within the Colony.

1. Diagnostic examinations ure perforined free of charge for indigent patients if the physician certifies on the request that the patient is indigont and unable to pay a fee, and as long as the work of the Laboratory is not interfered with. 8. Reports sent out from the Laboratory are entirely for the assistance of the medical practitioner, and are issued on the condition that they may not be used for legal proceedings.
