Range in nautical miles 350-1,000.

Apparatus:-

(A) Spark, Marconi 5 K.W., working on 600 and 1,800 metre wave lengths. Normal

working range 350 miles.

(B) Continuous Wave and Interrupted Continuous Wave, Marconi 6 K.W. Valve, work- ing on 2,800 metres wave length. Normal working range 1000 miles. The station is always open for the handling of general public correspondence.

Services:-

(1) The station conducts commercial service with ships on 600 metres spark and 2,800

metres C.W.

(2) The station conducts commercial services to Macao, Kwongelowan, French Indo-

China and the Province of Yunnan.

(3) The station receives weather reports from ships and fand stations. A summary of meteorological conditions and weather forecasts is broadcasted at 0500, 0900, 1200, 1600 hours G.M.T. on spark and C.W.

(4) Storm warnings are broadcasted at 0400 G.M.T. and repeated every two hours until

1600 G.M.T.

Charges:-

(i) The coast charge per word for messages to and from ships with exception of river boats "Kin Shan", "Tai Shan" and "Lung Shan" is 60 centimes per word with minimum charge of Fr. 6.00.

(ii) The coast charge per word for messages exchanged with the river boats"Kin Shan", "Tai Shan" and "Lung Shan" is 20 centimes per word, minimum charge Fr. 2.00.

(iii) The coast charge per word for messages exchanged with Indo-China, Kwongchowan

and the Province of Yunnan is 60 centimes, no minimum,

(iv) The const charge per word for messages exchanged with Macao is 20 centimes per

word, no minimum.
