(1) Hon. Mr. E. R. Hallifax's services were lent to British North Borneo Government from 1st July to 11th August. (2) Mr. A. E. Wood acted as Secretary for Chinese Affairs

from 1st July to 11th August,

(3) Mr. W. Schofield acted as Necond Assistant to Secretary

for Chinese Affairs up to 20th March and was then trans- ferred to District Office, South, as District Officer.

(4) Mr. E. I. Wynne-Jones neted as Second Assistant to Secretary for Chinese A finirs from 72nd March to Est. May. (5) Mr. T. W. Ainsworth neted as Thin♪ Assistant to Secretary
