Act of Colonial Legislature or other Authority under which levied.
Policy
LIGHT DUES,
All ships which enter the waters of the Colony except British and Foreign Ships
of War, shall pay the following dues, viz., two cents per tou.
All River Steamers, which enter the waters of the Colony by day or by night, shall
pay five-sixths of a cent per ton.

For boats in class B, $2 for each 10 feet or part of 10 feet in length, with a
minimum fee of $2, and a maximum fee of $10.
