and so on, increasing 6 cents per package for each 25 lb. of Gunpowder, up to and in excess of 100 th., according as the Gunpowder may be loose or in tins. Packages containing Safety Cartridges to be charged per 25 lb. weight, 6 cents a month, or fraction of a month; packages of detonators, 9 cents per 25 M. weight. Cases or boxes of Percussion Caps to be charged six cents for twenty-five pounds weight a month or fraction of a mouth.-
The weight of the various packages will be determined at the time of storing, and no
alteration will be allowed after they have beau received into the Magazine. The Government will not be responsible for damage by explosion, or by insufficient or improper packing, and as wooden packages are liable to the attacks of white ants, they should be tin-lined, and the lining should be intact.
Storage of Other Explosives :-
Nitro-Glycerine, or Glonoine Oil, Gun Cotton, Fulminating Mercury, Dynamite, Lithofracteur, Horsleys' Patent Blasting Powder, &c., &c. Cases of above contaiuing 25 lb. and less,
