REMARKS.

(1) Mr. Craig having gone on leave without pay to join the Army, Mr. A. A. H. Milroy acted as and drew full salary of First Clerk from 1st May to 31st December. (2) Mr. William Mak acted as 5th Grade Clerk and drew $27.50

per mensem from 1st July to 31st December.

(8) Mr. William Russell acted as Surveyor from 20th April. and drew half initial salary of Surveyor and half initial salary plus all increments and half duty pay as Assistant Surveyor from 20th August to 31st Decem bor.
