GUNPOWDER STORAGE — Continued.
Packages containing Safety Cartridges charged per 25 lb. weight, 6 cents a month, or fraction of a month; packages of detonators, 9 cents per 25 lb. weight. Cases or boxes of Percussion Caps to be charged six cents for twenty-five pounds weight a month or fraction of a month.
The weight of the various packages determined at the time of storing, and no alteration allowed after they have been received into the Magazine.
The Government will not be responsible for damage by explosion, or by insufficient or improper packing, and as wooden packages are liable to the attacks of white ants, they should be tin-lined, and the lining should be intact.
