There is an old silver mine in Lantau and an abandoned lead mine at Un Jo Gap, New Territories. A certain kind of clay is tunnelled for at Un In with which pottery is made. There is slate unquarried in Ping Chau Island, Mirs Bay, but none of these places have ever been investigated.
