REMARKS.

Allowance for extra work on the arrival of an English or French Mail from Europe, and of a Canadian or United Mates Mail on a Sunday, on the following scale :—

Balary $1,200 and upwards, $3 per Mail ; $suvand under hau, à per mail: wa nal suder Sau. A1 per mai. The allowance is doubled in the case of an English or

French Hafl arriving on a Sunday or holiday,

(6) Allowances for attendance on a Sunday or holiday are granted to Officers attending at the General. Offer at the rates of $3. #9 and $1 per diem according to seniority: Officers attending at the Kowloon Branch Office receive 81 per diem.
