1.—Postage or freiglu must be prepaid. 2.-Applications and samples should be addressed to the Government Analyst, who will inform the applicant ns to the cost of the ex- amination and will give a hill for the same which must be at once paid to the Colonial Treasurer.
3.—Thò right is reserved of refusing souples from beyond the boundaries of the Colony, or such simples as may not be considered of sufficient public importance to warrant analysis.
4.—Tho locality from which the sumples comme must be clearly described. 5.—Crnebed samples will not be ruceived for analysis under any cireum-
stances,
6.—All samples analysed will remain the property of the Government. 7.-The Government will not recoguise any claims arising from the results
of analysis.
