Royalties,
The Electric Traction Co, of Ilongkong Limited shall pay to the Government
the following Royalties, that is to say:-
(a) From Bih August 1914 for the period of twenty-five years, a Royalty amounting to five per cent, per annum of the profits of the Company.
(b) After the said period of twenty-five years (13th August 1989) has expired and for so long as the Company shall exercise their anid rights, powers and authorities a Royalty amounting to twenty-five per cent. per annum of the profits of the Company. For the purpose of this section profits shall be the gross takings of the Company less working expenses, nud such working expenses shall not be deemed to include any interest or dividends upon any moneys borrowel for the purposes of the Company.
