REMARKS.

(1) Dr. J. Beli acted as Principal Civil Medical Officer from 4th May to 17th November, and drew balf initial pay of Princi. pal Civil Medical Oficer and balf-pay of Superintendent of Civil Hospital from 4th September to 17th November. (2) Dr. F. T. Keyt acted as Health Ofcer of Port from 10th

March to last December.

(3) Dr. F. Grüne acted. Second Health Officer of Port from 10th

March to 31st December and drew 8100 of the lapsing half- pay of Health Officer of Port from 10th July to 81st December.

(4) Dr. W. V. M. Koch acter as Superintendent of Civil

Hospital from 4th May to 16th November and drew half of allowance in sterling of Superintendent of Lunatic Asyinm From 4th September to 16th November. Dr. W. B. 4. Moore acted as Superintendent of Civil Hospital and drew half of allowance in sterling of Superintendent of Lunatic Asylums on 17th November.
